Hello friends,
2018 was one busy year for The Imagination Spot where I took some big steps for my business and introduced some fun new products. Here is a little recap for you.
Inspired by the vintage travel posters, I launched my On The Road collection with Giclee art prints and postcards. I am delighted at the response I received from my customers and hope to keep adding more cities, states and national parks to the collection.
This year I decided to do my first trade show ever. Exhibiting at the National Stationery Show in New York was such a great experience. A trade show can be very expensive for a small business but the whole experience was definitely worth it. I added some new stock lists and signed a few licensing contracts after the show. It was also very exciting to see three of my products chosen to be in the Best New Product finalist section.
I was thrilled to have The Imagination Spot cards featured in the Stationery Trends magazine as well as the Gift Shop magazine among other amazing designers.
Being interviewed by ABC57 was another highlight of this summer. I could not believe when I got their email that they would like to feature The Imagination Spot in their Made In Michiana series. I am so thankful to AB57 for sharing my story.
In 2018, I launched a number of new products including enamel key chains, vinyl sticker sheets and thermal travel mugs. Working on the patterns for the travel mugs was my favorite.
I ended the year exhibiting at the One Of A Kind Show in Chicago. Being part of such a large show with 600 vendors was a great experience. Thanks to everyone who supported and followed along with The Imagination Spot. I hope to bring you new designs as well as new products in 2019. I hope you have a very Happy New Year!
